We Can't All Be American is a theatre piece originally commissioned by and premiered at the MET Opera Learning Centre, a new space in the Lincoln Centre (NY) for developing new opera.
The piece combines live electronics, string quartet, saxophone trio, and verbatim text from interviews with coal lobbyists, refugees and political analysts to present contrasting views on the links between climate change and migration.
